Aberdeen Airport: Planned Security Strike Dates Summer 2026 Announced

Passengers travelling through Aberdeen Airport should be aware of planned security staff strikes that could lead to delays.

Members of the Unite union employed by ICTS HBS Security are due to take industrial action after negotiations over pay failed to reach an agreement. As these workers make up the majority of the airport's baggage screening team, disruption is expected on strike days.

While discussions could still take place before or during this period, travellers should be aware that disruption remains a possibility.
