Alitalia flight personnel and airport ground staff to strike
Unions representing Alitalia flight personnel and airport ground staff in Italy are planning to hold countrywide 24-hour strikes on Monday 23rd September and on Wednesday 9th October. The work stoppages are due to begin at 00:01 and end at 23:59 (local time) on each day and is expected to impact domestic and international flights and airport operations across the country.
Flight disruptions, including delays, modified timetables and last-minute cancellations are possible during the strike period.
