A 24-hour strike by check-in staff planned for Thursday July 25 at Stansted Airport has been suspended while staff vote on an improved pay offer.

However, further planned strike days during July and August will still go ahead if the new pay offer is rejected.

Easyjet check-in staff will stage a series of strikes totalling 17 days at Stansted Airport.

The strikes are part of an ongoing pay dispute between it's members and Stobart Aviation Services Limited.

Proposed dates of strikes are:  

Thu.25 July to Mon.29 July

Fri.02 Aug to Mon.05 Aug

Fri.09 Aug to Mon.12 Aug

Fri.16 Aug to Mon.19 Aug

Fri.23 Aug to Tue.27 Aug
