New Regulations for entry and transfer in Germany

New Regulations for entry and transfer in Germany

Stricter regulations will now apply for entry into the Federal Republic of Germany.

All passengers from the age of 6 must present a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR, antigen, RT-LAMP or TMA) at the time of departure. The general requirement to test and provide proof upon departure thus also applies to entry from non-risk and risk areas.

The proof of the negative Covid-19 test must not be older than 48 hours at the time of entry and is checked by the airline before departure. Carriage is not possible without negative proof of testing. Please also note the obligation to provide proof of testing also applies to transit passengers who are entering Germany for transit purposes only.
