Emirates aircraft with new interiors to serve nearly 50% of network by year-end

The rollout of Emirates’ latest cabins across its A350, A380 and 777 aircraft shows no sign of slowing down, with eight more cities set to see the new products in the coming months.

The carrier will soon introduce its retrofitted A380 on flights to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Nice and Perth, while its refurbished 777 will fly to Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket and Frankfurt, and Dublin will also see a second retrofitted 777 towards the end of the year.

Emirates is currently completing aircraft makeovers at an average rate of one every three weeks, and said that by the end of the year it will serve more than 70 cities with either its upgraded A380s and 777s or newly-delivered A350s – representing nearly 50% of its network.

And it also means the airline will offer more than two million premium economy seats per year across its fleet by the end of 2025. This figure is then set to double to four million by the end of 2026.

Emirates recently announced plans to roster a retrofitted four-class A380 aircraft onto one of the carrier’s daily flights between Manchester and Dubai from 6 June.
